Marçal Xirau

· Catalan artist Marçal Xirau is an experimental musician known for creating immersive sets of original music, bending the barrier between experimental electronica, ambient music and avant-garde music. The producer based in London, releases his 3rd album Veil, on October 16, 2026.

· The producer has presented his work in several European festivals, such as Sónar. Having an electric guitar background, the musician seeks for expression and depth through digital tools and live performances. His dedication to exploring unknown sonic territories has led him to developing new techniques for distorting music using CDJs, creating new material live by layering and superimposing harmonies, exploring tension and release. His artistic approach prioritizes creativity in sound manipulation, resulting in a blend of ambient and beat-based sets that offer a journey and surreal experience for the audience.

· Marçal Xirau has opened for Colleen, Rabit, Doon Kanda and Organ Tapes shows. He played after Arca’s concert, continuing Sónar’s night in 2020.
